Hickory House
Hickory House is a 70’s Children’s TV show which was
created by Barry Smith, starring Humphrey Cushion and
Dusty Mop.
One hundred episodes were produced and were shown at
lunchtimes.
We have very little information about the programme -
perhaps you can remember more?
Story
Hickory House was a programme for pre-school children,
shown on
Granada
Television,
which featured
Humphrey Cushion and Dust Mop. Various actors and
actresses presented the programme including Alan
Rothwell, Louise Hall-Taylor and Amanda Barrie (Alma
from Coronation Street).
